Edo State University, EDSU Post UTME / DE Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session
The Edo State University, Uzairue (EDSU) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post UTME) forms for admission into various undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates interested in gaining admission into EDSU must meet the requirements outlined below.

EDSU Post UTME Screening and Eligibility
1. UTME Candidates

Must have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Minimum UTME Pass Mark: 140.
-
Must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalents, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings (except MB;BS – one sitting only).

Candidates awaiting results may apply.

Interested candidates who wish to change their university/course to EDSU must first apply for a Change of Institution through JAMB, complete the online EDSU application form, and participate in the screening exercise.
2. Direct Entry Candidates

Must purchase and process the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry Form.

Acceptable qualifications include:
-
Merit pass in NCE, Credit in OND/HND, or at least Second Class (Lower Division) in BSc.

Two Advanced Level passes or equivalents in relevant subjects.

IJMB, JUPEB, or Cambridge moderated School of Basic Studies at acceptable grades.

Must also satisfy O’ Level requirements and any other qualification approved by the University Senate.
3. Transfer Candidates

Must purchase and complete the Edo University Inter-University Transfer Form online.

Must pass the screening/interview conducted by EDSU.

Must hold the minimum entry requirements for admission and submit transcripts to the Admissions Office.

Must have a C.G.P.A. of at least 1.5.
