The management of Achievers University, Owo (AUO), Ondo State has announced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening form for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

General Admission Requirements

A. UTME Candidates

To be eligible, candidates must:

  • Have sat for the 2026 UTME and obtained the minimum score approved by
    Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and
    National Universities Commission.

  • Possess at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

  • The credits must include:

    • English Language

    • Mathematics

    • and three other subjects relevant to the chosen course.

Important note for Law applicants (LL.B.):
The five credit passes must include English Language and Literature-in-English.

B. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

(i) Direct Entry – 200 Level

Candidates must:

  • Meet the same O’Level requirements stated above, and

  • Possess any of the following in a relevant discipline:

    • Two (2) or three (3) A-Level passes, or

    • JUPEB, HSC, ND, NCE or ATS certificates.

  • In addition, candidates must have obtained the Direct Entry form through JAMB.

Specific programme requirements

  • B.NSc. (Nursing Science)
    Candidates must, in addition to the above:

    • Have at least two A-Level passes in Biology/Zoology and one of Chemistry or Physics,
      OR

    • Possess a Registered Nursing (RN) certificate of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria,
      OR

    • Hold a B.Sc. in any Biological Science (minimum of Second Class Lower).

  • B.Eng. (Engineering programmes)
    Candidates must, in addition to the above:

    • Have two A-Level passes including Mathematics and Physics,
      OR

    • Possess a National Diploma (Upper Credit) in a relevant Engineering discipline.

  • LL.B. (Law)
    Candidates must, in addition to the O’Level requirements:

    • Possess a two- or three-year diploma certificate,
      OR

    • Have at least two papers at Principal/Advanced Level (HSC, GCE or JUPEB),
      OR

    • Hold an acceptable Bachelor’s degree.

(ii) Direct Entry – 300 Level

The following qualifications are also acceptable for admission into relevant programmes:

  • HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics – acceptable for Computer Science.

  • HND in Computer Engineering – acceptable for:

    • Electrical/Electronic Engineering

    • Computer Engineering

    • Mechatronic Engineering.

  • Professional qualifications such as:

    • ACA, ACIB, ACIS, ACIN and ACIT – acceptable for Business Administration and Accounting, in addition to the basic O’Level requirements.

Achievers University Post-UTME Screening Dates

The screening exercise will be conducted in batches as follows:

  • First batch: Saturday, 6 August 2026

  • Second batch: Saturday, 10 September 2026

Yes. Candidates who did not initially select Achievers University can still apply, but they are required to process a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal and make Achievers University their preferred institution before admission is finalized.

When and where will the screening exercise hold?

The screening exercise is scheduled in two batches:

  • Saturday, 6 August 2026

  • Saturday, 10 September 2026

The main screening centre is at the Achievers University permanent site, Idasen-Ute Road, Owo, Ondo State.
Other approved centres are available in Abuja, Ado-Ekiti, Ibadan and Lagos.

What documents should I bring for the screening?

Applicants are expected to come with:

  • Printed application/screening acknowledgement slip

  • JAMB result slip

  • O’Level result(s)

  • Birth certificate or age declaration

  • State or local government of origin certificate

  • Recent passport photographs

Direct Entry candidates should also bring their ND, NCE, A-Level, JUPEB or HND certificates, where applicable.
