DOES UNIJOS ACCEPT SECOND CHOICE FOR ADMISSION?

Does UNIJOS accept second choice candidates? This is a question raised by lots of applicants or candidates who want to apply for admission into University of Jos(UNIJOS).

The good news is that JAMB Now Allows candidates to choose Universities as Second choice during registration, but the not so good news is that not all Universities or schools can be used as second (2nd) choice during JAMB Registration.Make sure you read to the end.

The University of Jos, abbreviated as Unijos, is a Federal University in Jos, Plateau State, central Nigeria.
The first Vice-Chancellor of the Unijos was Professor Gilbert Onuaguluchi. Classes began at the newly reorganized University of Jos in October 1976 with 575 students spreading over the existing four faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Education, Natural Sciences and Medical Sciences. Post-graduate programs were added in 1977. By 1978 Faculties of Law and Environmental Sciences were established and the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences was separated.

Does UNIJOS accept people that make them second choice? NO, University of Jos(UNIJOS) does not offer admission to candidates that make them second choice. In other words, to gain admission into the prestigious UNIJOS , you must make the university your first choice of institution in JAMB.

This means that no matter the JAMB Score you have (Be it 300 or above), UNIJOS will not consider you for admission if you apply them as 2nd choice.

So, candidates are hereby advised not to waste their second choice slot by applying for University of Jos(UNIJOS) as they won’t be considered for admission.
