EBSU Pre-Degree Admission Form 2022/2023

The management of the Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its pre-degree programme for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Ebonyi State University (EBSU) pre-degree programme for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The Pre-Degree school prepares candidates for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB/UTME).

Successful applicants in the EBSU Pre-Degree internal test (with a national minimum UTME score) are eligible for consideration for admission into any EBSU main degree programme.

The programme also acts as a remedial programme for applicants preparing for O’Level exams, however it is not a replacement for the O’Level required for main course entry.

Furthermore, the EBSU Pre-Degree Programme provides students with intense training in Basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Benefits:

Successful Pre-Degree applicants will be eligible for the JAMB admission quota designated for prelim candidates. Please keep in mind that successful applicants from the Pre-Degree Programme must also acquire the minimum UTME score through JAMB/UTME and must select Ebonyi State University as their first choice university in order to be considered for merit admission.

Duration:

The programme is planned for one academic year, which must last at least ten (10) calendar months.

Requirements:

A candidate must have five (5) credits in GCE O’Level, NECO, or SSCE at no more than two sittings to be eligible for admission.
