JAMB Releases Results of 2026 Mop-up UTME
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the recently conducted 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.
The announcement was made in Abuja on Wednesday by JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin.
According to him, the board has introduced a simplified and user-friendly method for candidates to check their results, in line with the Federal Government’s ease-of-doing-business policy.
How to Check Your 2026 UTME Mop-Up Result
To check your result, follow this simple step:

Send RESULT to 55019 using the same phone number you used during your UTME registration.
Your result will be sent back to you instantly as a text message.
How to Print Your Result
Candidates can also print their results after checking via SMS.
To do this, visit the official JAMB portal and print your result slip after linking your email address to your JAMB profile.

Important Notice to Candidates
JAMB explained that the introduction of this simplified checking method is meant to prevent candidates from being exploited by cybercafés and business centres that often take advantage of unsuspecting candidates.
According to the board, the new process ensures that candidates can check their results easily and directly without paying third parties.
