Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU), formerly known as University of Ife, is a federal government owned and operated Nigerian university. The university is in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Minor: Biology,Agric science, Geography, Economics
Note: Major subject are the compulsory ones while minor are the optional I.e you can use any of the minor to complete the requirements. Although some school has special (waiver) remarks regarding the subject to choose in the optional. So in this sense we advise you to pick Biology as the 5th subject in order to stand a high chance of gaining admission among others.
Direct Entry(DE) requirements :
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Computer Science, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(ii) ND/HND in Computer Science Upper/Lower credit respectively
Cut off mark for Computer science in OAU
The cut off mark for Computer science in OAU is 200. While admission into most of the major departments such as Law, Pharmacy, Medicine,etc. require a higher score in UTME.
Meanwhile OAU general cut off mark is pegged at 180, some departments in Obafemi Awolowo University,Ife, May accept 180 in JAMB.
