UNIPORT Post UTME/DE 2026: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details
The University of Port Harcourt hereby invites candidates who chose the University as First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 150 to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the UNIPORT Post-UTME screening:

You must have chosen the University of Port Harcourt as First Choice.

You must have scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.

You must be at least 16 years old by October 2026.
Registration Procedure
All candidates are to register online via the University portal.
Step 1
Visit the University website:

Step 2
Login with your UTME Registration Number and confirm your pre-loaded UTME details.
Step 3
Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and make payment using:

MasterCard, Visa or Verve card, or

Print your payment slip and pay at any of the following banks using the Remita platform:

Payment Amount: ₦2,000.00 only
Step 4
Obtain your Remita receipt showing an Access Code after payment.
Step 5
Return to the portal and login with your UTME Registration Number and Access Code.
Step 6
Complete the online application form.
Step 7
Print your Photo Card for the screening exercise and reprint it a day before the examination.
Step 8
Take note of your screening date and time as stated on your Photo Card.
Materials Needed for the Screening Exercise
Candidates are required to come with:

Important Notes for All Candidates

Any inconsistency in name or photograph on your registration slip is not acceptable and may lead to disqualification.

Names on your O’Level certificates, UTME result, and other documents must be the same.

Candidates must be 16 years or older by October 2026.

Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, walkman and similar gadgets are strictly prohibited at the screening venue.

Registration is strictly online. Candidates are not required to be physically present on campus to register.

Candidates who chose UNIPORT as second choice can only apply after making a change of institution to the University of Port Harcourt as first choice.

Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal.

Only candidates who apply within the registration period will be considered.

Candidates must use their valid GSM number and email address.

Candidates must report to their designated screening venues at the exact time stated on the Photo Card.

Parents, guardians and uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the campus during the screening exercise.
