Two Kind Sec. School Students returns Lost N250,000 to its Owner in Jos
The management of Government Secondary School, Bukuru, in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, has honoured two junior secondary school students for returning a sum of ₦250,000 they found within the school premises.
The students, Naima Hussaini and Righteous Samuel Genesis, both in JSS 3, discovered the money and immediately handed it over to their teacher, Mr. Ezekiel Yerima.

Students Returned the Money Without Hesitation
According to the students, after finding the money in the school compound, they decided to report it to their teacher rather than keep it.
Speaking to KT103.9 FM, Jos, on Monday, July 18, 2022, the students explained that their decision was influenced by the moral teachings of their respective religions and the values they received from home.
Students Call on Government for Educational Support
While expressing gratitude to the school management for the recognition, the students appealed to the government to support them in their education.
Naima Hussaini disclosed that her ambition is to become a medical doctor, while Righteous Samuel Genesis said he hopes to study architecture in the future.

The teacher who received the money, Mr. Ezekiel Yerima, commended the students for their honesty and discipline.
He noted that despite the fact that teachers in the school had not received their salaries for the past two months, he strongly believed that returning the money to its rightful owner was the only acceptable and moral decision.
