Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, IBBU Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form for 2026/2027

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who chose the University as their first choice and also from eligible Direct Entry applicants.

Who Is Eligible for IBBU Post-UTME 2026/2027?

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Candidates must have chosen Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai as their FIRST CHOICE institution.

• Candidates must have scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME conducted by
  Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

• Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply.

• All candidates must participate in the online O’Level result verification/screening exercise.

IBBU Result Submission / Screening Process

Important Notes

Note 1:
All UTME candidates must first check and verify their eligibility for the IBBU O’Level results screening exercise.

Note 2:
Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will proceed to payment through
Paystack.

Note 3:
Candidates are required to pay a screening fee of:

₦2,000.00 only – for the submission of either one (1) or two (2) O’Level result(s).
(The amount already includes bank and transaction charges.)

How to Apply for IBBU Post-UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form

The application process is in three (3) stages:

Stage 1 – Eligibility Check

Candidates should:

• Enter their JAMB Registration Number to confirm eligibility.

• If eligible:

  • Enter a valid mobile phone number.

  • Select the number of O’Level results to submit (maximum of two sittings).

• A Transaction ID / Invoice will be generated.

• Select a preferred payment option:

  • Interswitch Branch Collect, or

  • Interswitch webPAY.

Post-UTME Eligibility Checking Guidelines

1. Ensure you have your correct JAMB Registration Number.

2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided.

3. Click “Check Result Submission Eligibility.”

4. A message showing your eligibility status will be displayed.

5. If eligible, click the link provided to proceed to payment.

Stage 2 – Payment

Candidates should make payment through the
Interswitch platform as follows:

• If Branch Collect is selected, a transaction slip will be generated and printed for payment at any supported bank branch.

• If webPAY is selected, candidates will be redirected to the online payment page to complete the transaction.

Detailed instructions are available on the IBBU screening portal.

Stage 3 – Result Submission

After successful payment confirmation (via SMS):

• Candidates should log in using the details sent to their phone.

• Carefully enter their:

  • O’Level result(s), and

  • other required personal information.

• After submission, candidates are advised to print their acknowledgement slip for personal reference only.

Screening Period

The IBBU Post-UTME and Direct Entry verification and screening exercise will run from:

Monday, 8th August to Monday, 26th September, 2026.
