A 16-year-old student from Imo State, Uchegbu Obinna John-Paul, has captured national attention following his remarkable academic performance in both the WAEC and JAMB examinations.
According to on-air personality Amb Pope Saviola Godwyn, who shared the story online, Obinna achieved an extraordinary 331 points in his JAMB exams and secured 9 A’s in his recently released WAEC results.
Amb Pope Saviola, who also mentors the young Medicine and Surgery aspirant, described Obinna as a “brainiac” who worked tirelessly to achieve such feats. He urged Nigerians to celebrate the student’s dedication and intellectual prowess.

The OAP recounted a remarkable anecdote about Obinna’s early signs of genius: while in JSS2, Obinna reportedly turned his room door into a blackboard to study biology topics meant for senior students. He was also seen conducting lessons with imaginary friends, showcasing a unique blend of creativity and passion for learning.
