National Maritime Institute Admission

The National Maritime Institute (NMI) is a well-known maritime training institute located in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

The Institute was originally established in 1952 at Goshaildanga, Chittagong, as a small training institute.
Later, on 4th December 1989, the Institute was permanently relocated to its present and expanded campus at South Halishahar, Chittagong, where it now operates with modern training blocks and facilities.

NMI is recognised as an IMO white-listed institute, under the standards of the International Maritime Organisation, and is regarded as one of the most modern maritime training institutions in the region.

The campus is a secure and purpose-built training environment for professional seafarers.
