This is to inform all graduates of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) that the process for the registration and collection of the NYSC Exclusion Letter for the 2026 convocation has officially commenced.
Graduates who studied on a part-time or distance learning basis are required to obtain an NYSC Exclusion Letter instead of participating in the National Youth Service.
The exclusion letter is issued by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The NYSC portal payment is usually less than ₦3,000, excluding cybercafé or service charges.
NOUN NYSC Exclusion Letter Registration Procedure
Follow the steps below carefully:

Visit the NYSC portal

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on
“Check Senate List or its equivalent” to confirm your details. -
After confirming your name, return to the NYSC homepage.

Click on “Mobilization Batch”.

Click on “Fresh Registration” to begin your account creation.

Fill in the required details and click Continue.

Verify your email address by clicking the confirmation link sent to your email.

Log in and complete the registration form.
👉 While filling the form, select “Part-Time” so that you can skip the JAMB Regularization number. -
Click Submit and Continue.

You will be redirected to the payment page.
Choose your preferred payment option and make payment. -
After payment, log in to your dashboard to check when your exclusion letter will be available for printing.
How to Print Your NYSC Exclusion Letter
Once your exclusion letter is ready:

Log in to your NYSC dashboard.

Click on Print Exclusion Letter.

Download and print your letter.
