OAU Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility and Registration

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to go through the following processes:

Step 2: Log on to the site with your Registration Number as Username and your Surname as Password.

Step 3: Fill the biodata form and click continue.

Step 4: Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) from this site only, and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.

Step 5: Once payment is accepted, the system logs out, and you can now log in again.

The screening exercise will be done online. Candidates are advised to get the official OAU Post-UTME Past questions and answers, as this will help them prepare adequately for the screening exercise. CLICK HERE to get yours.

Applicants who provide false information or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.

Candidates are required to check their screening schedule on the OAU Portal from 12th October 2026.

Candidates will also be required to participate in the Post-UTME screening on their allotted dates and time from 17th October to 22nd October, 2026.

Applicants should note that the screening fee is two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only.

What is the OAU Post-UTME cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 academic session?
Candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to participate in the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Post-UTME screening exercise, according to the university’s screening portal.

Who is eligible for the OAU Post-UTME screening?
The screening is open to UTME candidates who scored at least 200 and selected OAU as their institution of choice. Candidates awaiting O-Level results may also apply, but are expected to upload their results once they are released.

Are Direct Entry (DE) candidates eligible for OAU screening?
Yes. Direct Entry candidates who applied to OAU can participate in the screening exercise. The university’s portal indicates that DE candidates are expected to have a minimum of Upper Credit for the relevant qualification.

How can I register for the OAU Post-UTME/DE screening?

Does scoring 200 in UTME guarantee admission into OAU?

Admission remains competitive and depends on the candidate’s screening performance, programme requirements, O-Level results, and the university’s admission criteria. Some departments may also have additional or higher requirements.
