Medical Malpractice is a non-automatic pistol in Fallout 76, first introduced with the Wild Appalachia update. It was made available for crafting by a plan from Daily Ops with the Locked & Loaded update.

Medical Malpractice is a .44 pistol variant manufactured by Red Raptor Firearms, a company based out of Austin, Texas.

Medical Malpractice was a weapon that was released alongside the Wild Appalachia update for Fallout 76. This weapon is designed with the idea of V.A.T.S. in mind so those who have a build focused around the targeting system should know that this weapon is worth the time it takes to get. This is one of the go-to weapons when you are low on health and looking to support your team. Unfortunately, it will take a while to obtain.

Medical Malpractice stats
The Medical Malpractice weapon is capable of being worked on at a weapons workbench. The basic stats of the weapon aren’t the most amazing with a base damage of around 60. This can be upgraded with the various revolver mods you can obtain from vendors and by dismantling other revolvers found in the wastelands. When crafted, this weapon comes with the following perks:

*V.A.T.S. criticals will heal you and your nearby allies
*+33% V.A.T.S. hit chance
*25% less V.A.T.S. Action Points cost
These perks allow you to fire this weapon very effectively if you rely mostly on V.A.T.S. Those who aren’t focused on V.A.T.S. should steer away from this weapon and focus on a more high-powered weapon.

Unlike most legendary weapons in Fallout 76, the only way to obtain the Medical Malpractice weapon is by crafting it. While you used to be able to obtain this weapon from a survival challenge, you can now only obtain the plan from the Daily Op mission. While any tier of completing can get you the plan for the Medical Malpractice weapon, it is best to complete the Daily Op with the Elder Tier since it guarantees you a Daily Op reward. Once you get the plans, you will need the following items to craft the weapon:

1.One Adhesive
2.Two Legendary Modules
3.One Oil
4.Six Screws
5.15 Steel

If you need help obtaining the Legendary Modules required, make sure to turn any unnecessary legendary weapons and armor you might have into Scrip at one of the train stations. You can then purchase Legendary Modules from the Purveyor.
