Claretian University Post UTME & Direct Entry Eligibility

To be considered for admission into CUN for the 2026/2027 academic session, candidates must meet the following conditions.

 General Requirement (For All Candidates)

• All candidates must apply through JAMB.

• Candidates must meet the general and departmental requirements of the university.

UTME Admission Requirements

Candidates applying through UTME must:

• Possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO or equivalent)

• Credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings

• English Language and Mathematics are compulsory

• Credits must be in relevant subjects to the chosen course

• Attain an acceptable UTME score in relevant subjects

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must:

• Possess five (5) SSCE credit passes, including:

  • English Language

  • Mathematics

In addition, candidates must have at least one of the following:

• IJMB or JUPEB qualification

• Two (2) A’ Level passes in relevant subjects

• NCE or ND with credit passes

• A good first degree in another field

⚠️ Note:
The University will not accept transfer students until after at least the first two years of its existence.

Claretian University Application Fee 2026/2027

• UTME candidates: ₦5,000

• Direct Entry candidates: ₦10,000

The application fee is non-refundable.
